Inspired Art

Last year, we stopped at a beach in Lido Key, Florida for a little R&R after a busy winter season of art festivals. Near our spread in the sand, a young girl was searching the beach for white shells, recruiting her family and passersby to help her cause. We could tell she was on a mission, meticulously arranging found treasures with the passion that fuels all great creations. She worked like this for what seemed like an hour. And then she took a step back, a sweet, contented smile stretching across her face.

This was her creation: A sea gull made of broken shells, torn leaves, and vegetation from the sea. We especially liked her frame! Thanks for the smile, young Anna.
